DEAF AND PARTIALLY BLIND GREAT DANE HAS TRUE FRIENDSHIP WITH A TODDLER

With a 17-month-old toddler, a deaf and partially blind Great Dane experienced unconditional affection and lifelong companionship.

Echo’s life was almost brought to an end before she found her present loving family. Her previous owner wanted to put her down because of her disabilities.

But, happily, someone intervened and saved Echo. Echo, according to Marion Dwyer, a 33-year-old lady with a heart for animals, deserves to live despite her limitations. After all, she’s a perfectly healthy dog.

Marion even wrote an open letter to Echo’s former owner in a sorrowful article. Her statements were tinged with resentment due to how they had treated her in the past. She does, however, boldly proclaim that Echo is now happier, safer, and healthier.

Marion was correct about Echo, for the once-unloved dog now returns all of Marion’s love to her through her young daughter, Jennie.

Echo has always loved snuggling Marion’s baby bump, even before Jennie was born. Echo took on the role of protector after the infant was born.

Echo has been on the hunt for Jennie since she was born. If a stranger approaches, Echo will step in front of the infant so that the stranger can pet her first.

She does it, however, in such a serene manner. She wants to keep her human safe.

Jennie, on the other hand, enjoys walking Echo about, even as a toddler. Echo benefits from her slower pace than her mother since it allows her to keep an eye on everyone and smell everything.

Marion also taught them how to communicate with each other through sign language. When she wants Echo to come to her, for example, she waves. She’s also good at giving her a treat.

Marion, on the other hand, grew to like Great Danes as a result of Echo. As a result, she adopted two more female Great Danes, giving Echo companionship.

But, after seeing her adoptive dog and her kid, she realizes that no one else can replace their bond. What are we to say? These two are unquestionably a match made in heaven!
