Death row dog recently found out he’s been adopted, and his reaction is the greatest thing imaginable

When a dog is adopted or saved and travels by car to begin a new life, it is a lovely moment. But Benny’s “freedom walk” had me beaming ear to ear. I had never seen a dog perform one before.

Benny, who is about 8 months old, was adopted by a family after spending a few weeks at the Carson Animal Care Center in Gardena, California. When Benny is first let out of his kennel by his new owners, he is unclear about what to do. What precisely is happening? Which direction should he go? Though anxious, he is enthusiastic.

The Facebook post was made by Saving Carson Shelter Dogs, who claimed:

”Everyone who visited his kennel fell in love with this adorable little puppy. When this loving family decided to adopt him, he struck gold. I appreciate your contribution. Check out his FREEDOM WALK, which is lots of leaps and tail wagging! Have a wonderful life, Benny.”

When they put a leash on Benny and move near the front door, he panics. The puppy wants to leave immediately. Of course, he stops briefly to smell the grass and urinate, but then he continues on to his new life.
