Grandpa, 75, volunteers at a shelter for six months and takes naps with the cats every day

Terry is an animal lover, so when he learned about the cage-free, no-kill cat shelter, he felt compelled to lend a hand. It didn’t take Terry long to win over every rescue cat with his charm and prowess at brushing them. Easily, a one-time visit developed into a commitment as a recognized volunteer.
He looks after them every day, cuddles with them, and now that he’s famous as the “cat grandfather,” he’s spreading influence online and encouraging many others  support the sanctuary.

Terry, the 75-year-old grandpa who pays a visit on a daily basis to his local shelter, the Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

He always carries with him his trusty blue cat brush.

Terry loves naps, especially naps cuddled with shelter cats.

He is inspiring many people to support the sanctuary.

He is now an official volunteer to the sanctuary, and the cats definitely appreciates his service.
