Man Befriends A Bear Over The Years And Then She Takes Her Cubs To Meet Him

Since a bear family started coming to his home in the late summer of 2017, Patrick Conley of Asheville, North Carolina, has had numerous bear experiences. The man resides in the Beaverdam Valley, where the local bears are habituated, which means they are accustomed to people and usually don’t bother them. However, this particular family has gotten to know Conley and frequently pays him visits on his porch and front yard.

Conley made the decision to give the bears names after getting to know them for many years. Maté is the older mother, and she has three children: a son named Maurice who is a sizable adult, a daughter named Simone who is currently a mother to two cubs, and a third daughter named Solange.

Because they frequently visit Conley’s land, this devoted family has grown to trust him and must value his company.

On his YouTube channel, Conley uploads clips of his experiences with bears. Watch a clip from May 2021 to witness Simone’s cute cubs visiting Conley for the first time. When the bears came out of the trees, the man was relaxing on his front porch.

“I’m over here,” Conley yelled as a way to alert them to his location. So that Conley could have a good look at the cubs, the mother then marched them up the steps. Once more vanishing into the woods, the bears spent some time strolling about the porch and doing some exploration.
